At our school our vision is E tu hei maunga as you can see in the photo. A group of past students painted this wall with the help of Marc Spijkerbosch, one of the many diverse opportunities that we offer at our school. In the background of the photo is Mount Ngongotaha a landmark in our town. E tu hei maunga translates to 'stand tall like a mountain'. It is a vision we have for our tamariki at Western Heights Primary School. Our strong culture is reflected in the children, who are also incredibly active taking part in the opportunities that we provide including local events such as, tough guy, j’rock and kapa haka to name a few. Our fun, easy lifestyle is reflected in the ‘dab’ as the point to Mount Ngongotaha!
