The Whakarewarewa Forest is beautiful in serenity and peacefulness. It provides an escape from daily life, yet it is located so close in the city. Rotorua has always felt welcoming - just like the forest is. I feel that in this photo the different colour leaves represent not only the changing seasons but also the diversity of cultures that combine to make Rotorua a special place for everyone throughout the World to come and enjoy.
