Te Pūkenga Koeke o Te Whare Taonga o Te Arawa invite Te Arawa iwi, hapū me ngā whānau to a huihuinga on the future of Te Whare Taonga o Te Arawa.
There are three possible options and these will be discussed at the huihuinga. It is important that iwi me ngā hapū o Te Arawa are informed and that their voice is heard.

Council’s deliberations on the future of Rotorua Museum Te Whare Taonga o Te Arawa have been rescheduled until the Infrastructure and Environment Committee meeting on 2 August 2023. Over the next month a series of workshops will be held to ensure all Councillors are fully briefed on all aspects of the strengthening and restoration project. Three of these workshops will be open to the public to attend as observers in the Council Chamber and will also be live streamed on the Rotorua Lakes Council website.
